A BOOK I LIKE

The best book for me is "Harry Potter." The book was written by Joan Rowling. There are seven parts of the book. I have six parts and I will by the 7^th soon.

The book is full of action. It's a story about a young wizard Harry Potter who goes to a school for young wizards and witches. He doesn't have parents because they were killed by a dark wizard Voldemort. Voldemort tries to find Harry and kill him, but he always loses.

There are many characters in the book. My favourite character is Harry Potter. There are Ron Weasley and Hermione, too. They are Harry's best friends. There are the teachers in the school. All of them try to protect Harry, especially Dumbledore, the principal. All of them are good guys. The bad guys are Voldemort and his helpers who try to kill Harry.

For me, the best part of the book is the 6^th part, because there are so many fights between good and bad guys. No part of the book is boring. The story is full of strange beings. All the six parts are good and exciting. If you like this sort of books, you should read it. If you don't read at least one part. Maybe you change your mind!

"THE HOLIDAY"

The film is one of those you watch before you go to sleep. It is based on a love story, which makes this film very romantic. The story is located in L.A and a suburb of London. The female leads are played by great American stars, Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet. The male lead is played by Jude Law, which was absolutely stunning with his great English accent.

The plot is very imaginative. Namely, Cameron is a rich business woman. In the first scene, you see Cameron throwing her, now ex boyfriend, out of her place. She's a very stubborn and energetic woman.

On the other side of the planet, in the U.K., Kate has just been left by her, now ex boyfriend. She's desparate.

In affect, Cameron Googled for "the vacation spots" and found Kate's house on the Internet, in a suburb of London. She contacted Kate immediately and they agreed on an exchange.

Going on vacation was the breaking point in their lives. Cameron found love of her life, Jude Law (who is Kate's brother), and Kate found her love (who is Cameron's associate).

The film is for women only. It is about falling in love, being cheated, fashionAll in all, acting is very convincing.

If you enjoy romantic films which take your breath away, this would be a great solution for you. It's a great film for evening hours, so grab your pop-corns and press "play" on your DVD player!

FIND HAMLET IN YOURSELF

The school started. So I've decided to write about a book which we were talking about on a class.

The title of the book is HAMLET. The book was written by William Shakespeare. It's about a Danish prince, Hamlet, whose father was murdered by his brother. Hamlet didn't know about that until his father's ghost appeared and told him about it.

The whole play takes place in Denmark, and just at some moments it moves to France and England. From the relationships on the court, we can find out a lot about Hamlet and the king Claudio, as well as about all of the servants. We can see that the only friend of Hamlet's was Horatio.

Hamlet and Horatio were similar in many things. They saw this world as a big jail, because everything around them was rotten

The most important about this drama is that it has a universal meaning. Some scenes can happen even today, for example: hypocrisy, arguing, fighting about wealth, love scenes, fratricide.

I think that everyone has Hamlet in himself, because we can't be sure about everything. We will always have a dilemma about something.

What I also should mention is that, in Hamlet, we can read a lot of philosophical thoughts. One example for that is: "TO BE OR NOT TO BE".

A piece of advice for readers:

Try to enjoy reading "Hamlet". I'm sure you will find yourself in this book!
