Swimming
If you prefer water, you can choose swimming. There are public, open (outdoor) swimming pools at the end of the Big Park. There are a few of them. The small one for babies and toddlers. The medium-sized one with a slide for semi-swimmers, the Olympic -sized one for swimmers and the one with the diving-board for the good swimmers who want to have fun.
There's another pool in the other part of Kragujevac for the ones who don't like crowd. It's just one pool, with a lot of shade (forest).
If you want to improve your swimming styles or to practice it, there's a great club called "Delfin" (Dolphin). They have a school of swimming for all ages and the've got a club for childen 7 to 14. They've been very successful. They won a lot of medals at international competitions.
Unfortunately, there's no indoor public swimming pool in the town. But there are ones in two primary schools. They're mainly used by the studemts and the "Delfin" but you can pay and go there for a swim.
The authorities promise to have a public indoor swimming pool built by the end of 2008.
